Fiona has choreographed and presented new works for the stage since 2001. Past performances include Tierra (2007) and Poesía Gitana (2006) in Calgary. Choreography credits include Calgary Opera's production of Carmen (2007). Fiona has also collaborated with Ramón Martínez, David Palomar and Oscar Lagos (Aire Flamenco) as well as with other artists from Seville.
Recent performances in Spain have included performing as a soloist in the production “Y ahora soy yo la Torera” in the Alcazár (palace) of Seville, Teatro Cerezo of Carmona and the Alcazár of Jerez de la Frontera. Other performances include Patio Las Cruces “Flamenco sin Fronteras”, "Tablao Flamenco" in Bar Sol and Arrayan's “Tarde de Flamenco Puro” in Seville with guitarist Juan Ramirez.
Fiona was featured in the opening act for Academy Award winner Buffy Sainte-Marie at the Jack Singer Concert Hall. She has also performed at several venues in Canada and the States, including as a guest artist with Pavlo, the Jorge Miguel Flamenco Ensemble, Flamenco Rosario in Vancouver as well as frequent performances with guitarist Holly Blazina. She is also the artistic director of the Fiona Malena Flamenco Society.
