Blue Rhino is an 8-piece ensemble dedicated to bringing outrageous R & B to the masses. With a 3-lead singer/2-horn format, Blue Rhino provides soulfully expressed rhythm and blues entertainment infused with elements of jazz, funk, rock and even folk genres.
Blue Rhino is: André Patterson (lead vocals, horn), Russell Emerson (guitar, backing vocals), Bruce Lovstrom(drums), John Leimseider (keyboards), Deanne Matley (lead vocal), Amy Thiessen (lead vocal), Derek Routledge (saxes), and Terry Lacroix (bass). Since 1996, Blue Rhino has been performing at clubs and special events in Southern Alberta.
